Description:
An exceptionally aged Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Russell’s Reserve 13 Year is crafted from hand-selected barrels matured for at least 13 years. Rich, powerful and deeply complex, it showcases the balance of mature oak and concentrated sweetness that comes from extended barrel aging. Depending on the release, expect layers of dark fruit, caramelized sugar, vanilla, chocolate, baking spice and seasoned oak, followed by a warming, lingering finish. Russell’s Reserve uses new American oak barrels with a deep No. 4 “alligator” char, a signature of the Wild Turkey whiskey-making style.

Russell’s Reserve honors the Russell family, whose decades of whiskey-making experience are closely tied to Wild Turkey. Master Distillers Jimmy and Eddie Russell have more than a century of combined distilling experience, and the 13 Year is one of Russell’s Reserve’s limited releases made from some of the distillery's oldest stocks.

The expression has also received major recognition: the original Russell’s Reserve 13 was named Fred Minnick’s No. 1 Whiskey of the Year in 2021, and the expression received Double Gold at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
