Description:
A refined, full-bodied Napa Valley Cabernet with rich flavors of blackberry, ripe cherry, plum and dried cherry, layered with black licorice, nutmeg, vanilla bean, mocha, cedar, leather and tobacco. Earthy notes of fennel and roasted mushroom add complexity, while vibrant acidity and fine-grained tannins create a harmonious, supple texture and a long, polished finish.
Pairing Recommendation:
Excellent with Prime Ribeye, Prime NY Strip, Porterhouse, beef tenderloin, lamb or aged cheeses. For Midtown Provisions, pair with a Prime Porterhouse or Prime Ribeye. Wilfred Wong specifically recommends grilled Porterhouse with this vintage.
Serve: 60–65°F. Allow approximately 30–45 minutes to breathe before serving.
