Description:
The 2021 Diamond Collection Claret is the flagship red of Coppola’s Diamond Collection, inspired by the classic red blends of Bordeaux. Cabernet Sauvignon forms the foundation, with other Bordeaux varieties adding complexity. Rich and full-bodied, it offers boysenberry, ripe black plum and dark fruit layered with black pepper, dark chocolate, fennel, warm spice and subtle earthy notes. A creamy mid-palate, firm yet polished tannins and a long finish give this wine a sophisticated but approachable character.

Pairing Recommendation:
Excellent with Prime Ribeye, rack of lamb, beef tenderloin, short ribs, mushroom risotto or aged cheeses. Coppola specifically recommends rack of lamb and porcini mushroom risotto with Claret. For Midtown Provisions, I’d feature it with a Rack of Lamb—a particularly nice pairing for the wine’s dark fruit, pepper and savory character.
