Description:
A rich, full-bodied Sonoma County Cabernet with layers of blackberry, black cherry, plum and black currant, complemented by cedar, cocoa, licorice, leather, vanilla and toasted spice. The palate is broad and generous, with ripe dark fruit, rounded tannins and a long, polished finish. Much of the Cabernet fruit comes from Ferrari-Carano's vineyards in Alexander Valley, giving the wine a combination of ripe fruit and classic Cabernet structure.
Pairing Recommendation:
Excellent with Prime Ribeye, Prime NY Strip, beef tenderloin, rack of lamb, roasted meats or aged cheeses. Ferrari-Carano specifically recommends Cabernet with grilled or roasted beef and lamb. For Midtown Provisions, pair with a Prime Ribeye.
Serve: 60–65°F. Allow approximately 30–45 minutes to breathe before serving.
