Description:
A lush, approachable California Cabernet from the Duckhorn Portfolio, showing generous flavors of black cherry, ripe plum and cranberry with savory hints of tapenade. Oak aging adds layers of nutmeg, vanilla and cardamom, while silky, mouth-coating tannins and juicy acidity create a smooth, balanced palate and a long, satisfying finish.
Pairing Recommendation:
Excellent with Prime Ribeye, NY Strip, braised short ribs, lamb, Wagyu burgers or aged cheeses. For Midtown Provisions, I’d pair it with a Prime NY Strip—the wine is smooth and fruit-forward enough to be approachable while still having the structure to complement a well-marbled steak.
Serve: Around 60–65°F. Give it about 20–30 minutes to breathe before serving.
